Dear Colleagues,
We want to share with you an important update to the existing Visitor Protocol, which restricts visits to Northeastern’s campuses from those outside the university community who do not have a current and active university identification card.
The Visitor Protocol and the following guidance apply to all of Northeastern’s locations across the global network.
Effective today, December 3nd, all essential and non-essential visitors must be registered by the host department using the new Visitor Registration Form.
Visitors who are not deemed essential per the definition outlined in the existing Visitor Protocol, will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the department’s senior vice president, or their designee. To request approval of a non-essential visitor, please complete the Visitor Registration Form and provide information regarding the reason for the non-essential visit, including why it needs to be an in-person visit instead of a virtual meeting.
As the host of a visitor, you are responsible for the following:
We hope that the visitor communication template and wellness screening questionnaire will be helpful tools for you in communicating this important information to visitors.
For more information regarding the visitor protocol, and other important information, please visit Northeastern’s COVID-19 website.
Sincerely,
David Madigan Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
Ken Henderson Chancellor and Senior Vice President for Learning
