Dear Students,
I’m writing to provide an update on summer course delivery. At this time, we anticipate that classroom density limitations will continue to be necessary as the vaccine rollout continues over the course of the spring and summer.
Given this situation, the university will offer all in-person class sections scheduled for this summer (undergraduate and graduate levels, excluding a small number of hands-on labs and studios) in the Hybrid NUflex mode. Thus, students may attend these classes in-person according to the dynamic scheduling utility that we have all been using since the fall, or alternatively, may attend classes remotely.
I want to once again assure you that we are committed to both providing the best possible learning experience and to keeping our Northeastern community healthy and safe.
Regards,
David Madigan Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
