Northeastern’s campuses buzzed with excitement as Commencement Week celebrations officially began. Graduates gathered across Boston and Oakland to mark their achievements with ceremonies, cap tosses and photos with friends and family. The week also included a tradition on the Boston campus: Professor William Sharp delivered the Last Lecture in the Curry Student Center Ballroom.

Meanwhile, Northeastern’s baseball team defeated Harvard, 5-4, to win its eighth Baseball Beanpot championship at Fenway Park, extending its winning streak to 13 games — the longest current streak in the nation.
