As January came to an end this past week, members of the Northeastern community were fully immersed in their work. Assistant professor Wei Xie worked to mass produce stem cells using artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, Tommaso Melodia, the founding director of Northeastern’s Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things, previewed the work he’s spearheading in his lab on the Boston campus. Moses Ayirebi, a student from Ghana, reflected on his journey to the university and the role Northeastern’s Richard O’Bryant has played in his life.
