Here’s what you need to know about Northeastern’s homecoming week

Northeastern University is marking Homecoming 2023 with several events for both current students and graduates alike.
The celebration began with a kickoff concert with Tommy Lefroy and will continue through Saturday when the men’s hockey team faces off against Providence College.
Events for current students
Tuesday, November 7
Stuff-a-Husky
From noon to 5 p.m. at the Ballroom and Robinson Tents, students can make their own Northeastern husky at the stuff-a-husky event. The event is free but ticketed. Students must come within their given time slot. It is sponsored by the undergraduate student activity fee and graduate student activity fee.
Monet x Change
At 7 p.m., the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” Season 4, Monet x Change, will be doing standup and be in conversation at Blackman Auditorium. Comedian Maddie Wiener will be the opener. This event from the Council of University Programs is free and first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Students may bring one guest 18 or older with a valid ID.
Wednesday, November 8
Husky Spirit Day party
Celebrate Husky pride with Alumni Relations on the Snell Library Quad from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
An evening with Rob Gronkowski
The famous former New England Patriot will be in conversation at Blackman Auditorium courtesy of the Council for University Programs. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the event will start at 7:30 p.m. This free event is first-come, first-served and open to Northeastern University students only.
Karaoke
Sing your heart out from 7 to 10 p.m. at afterHOURs in the Curry Student Center with this event hosted by the Graduate Student Government.
Thursday, November 9
Homecoming headliner
Head over to Matthews Arena for a concert with rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, hosted by CUP. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are sold out.
Friday, November 10
Craft Corner
Stop by Robinson Tents from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to make some friendship bracelets or art that will hang in the Curry Student Center.
Cookies and cocoa
From 4 to 6 p.m., there will be Make Your Own Hot Cocoa kits with color-changing mugs at the Robinson Tents.
Saturday, November 11
Community cleanup
Join the Off-Campus Student Community Ambassadors in giving back to the community. From 1 to 2 p.m., Northeastern students will meet at the Off Campus Communities on Columbus Avenue and Fenway to clean up the streets surrounding the school. Free coffee and donuts will be available for all who help.
SGA tailgate
Wrap up the weekend with the Student Government Association’s annual homecoming tailgate. Free food and free Northeastern swag will be available, as will fun activities.
Events for Graduates
Thursday, November 9
Northeastern Athletics Hall of Fame inauguration
Celebrate the inauguration of members of the Athletics Hall of Fame class of 2023. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Curry Ballroom followed by the main event in the Blackman Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Tickets required.
Homecoming headliner
This event is open to graduates as well! Up to two tickets are available for purchase.
Women’s basketball
Watch the home opener against the UMass Minutemen at 7 p.m. at Solomon Court.
Friday, November 10
Veterans Day Ceremony
The university is hosting its annual ceremony honoring those who served at the Veterans Memorial at 2 p.m., followed by a reception at the Raytheon Amphitheater.
Women’s volleyball
The team will face off against the Towson Tigers at 2 p.m. at Solomon Court at Cabot Center.
FanFest tailgate
Tailgate in Matthews Arena lot from 5 to 7 p.m. to kick off the women’s ice hockey team facing off against Providence College beginning at 7 p.m. There will be drinks, music and the return of Punter’s Pub.
Saturday, November 11
Snell open house
Tour the newly renovated fourth-floor library and chat with Dean Cohen at the Snell library from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Alumni Homecoming family fest
Introduce family to Northeastern’s campus in Centennial Common from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. There’ll be activities, giveaways and even a visit from Paws.
Men’s hockey pregame
The men’s ice hockey team will face off against Providence College at 7 p.m., but you can prep for the match at the Matthews Arena lot beginning at 5 p.m. where Punter’s Pub will be around again to celebrate the weekend with family and friends.
