From sun-soaked ocean views to moments of quiet study on campus, this week offered a vivid look at summer life at Northeastern. Students visited the Marine Science Center on the Nahant campus, where they explored tide pools and studied marine ecosystems along the rocky coastline. Back on the Boston campus, the warm weather brought students outdoors to read, work and relax between classes.

Inside research labs, the pace remained steady as faculty and students advanced work in energy storage, AI and environmental science. Whether knee-deep in coastal fieldwork or immersed in high-tech experiments, the Northeastern community continued to push learning forward.
