Northeastern offers open skate to faculty, staff and students with a current valid Northeastern ID. Here’s what you need to know.
What is it? Anyone with a current valid Northeastern ID can skate at Matthews Arena, home to the university’s hockey and basketball teams.
Who can participate? Open skate is not available to the general public, only Northeastern faculty, staff and students, so don’t bring your family or friends.
What are the hours? The full schedule is posted online, but next week (Feb. 17-21) open skate is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, 3:15-4:45 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 p.m. Friday.
What is required? You must provide your own skates and no hockey equipment is allowed.
