2024 was full of big moments at Northeastern, showcasing why the university is so special. From groundbreaking research in robotics and biology to unforgettable athletic victories and global celebrations, it was a year to remember. Students, faculty and staff brought Northeastern’s mission to life across the world, engaging in a diverse range of activities. In London, the new One Portsoken campus became a vibrant space for learning and connection. In Oakland, students participated in Bay Area and Silicon Valley co-ops. The Boston campus was a hive of activity, from a solar eclipse viewing to the RISE Expo and memorable commencement ceremonies at Fenway Park. There was no shortage of excitement on the ice — the men’s and women’s hockey teams kept fans cheering for Beanpot wins. Across every corner of the global community, individuals poured their hearts into their work, studies and passions, and their dedication is truly appreciated. Here’s to all the extraordinary accomplishments of 2024.
