Photo by Alyssa Stone/Northeastern University To help students destress from finals, King Husky and four-month-old Lucille, also a husky, visited campus this week. Students and faculty were also busy working in their labs. Assistant professor Stephen Hatfield and his team worked on a novel treatment for blood and solid tumor cancers. Meanwhile, Northeastern club Give A Hand spent time developing 3D-printed prosthetic hands. 12/12/23 – BOSTON, MA. – Students pet King Husky and four-month-old Lucille, during finals week at Centennial Common on Dec. 12, 2023. The goal is to develop T-cells that would be available “off the shelf” rather than having to create individualized gene T-cell therapy for each patient – which takes precious weeks.
