The holiday spirit was palpable around campus this week. On Wednesday evening, hundreds of students, staff and faculty members bundled up to attend the annual Joy and Light holiday showcase on the Boston campus. On Thursday, students put their decorating skills to the test by competing in Northeastern’s annual gingerbread house competition. Meanwhile, others attended the holiday market to purchase goods, including indulgent macarons and cozy crewnecks, from Northeastern makers. On Thursday evening, the Boston community celebrated the first night of Hanukkah by lighting a menorah on Krentzman Quad.
