Every weekday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. EDT, the Center for Spirituality, Dialogue, and Service hosts a free yoga session in the Sacred Space, located at 200 Ell Hall. Yoga mats are available upon request.

Celebrating professor Richard Daynard
Join Northeastern University School of Law in celebrating the 50-year career of Professor Richard Daynard. Founder and president of the Public Health Advocacy Institute, his work focuses on the legal responsibility of the tobacco industry for tobacco-induced addiction, disease, and death. The celebration will take place Thursday, Nov. 4, at 6:30 p.m. EDT.
Celebrate entrepreneurship at and around Northeastern
At NEXPO, ventures across IDEA, Northeastern, and Boston are invited to present their startups. This year IDEA will unveil NEXPITCH, where four select startups will pitch live to a panel of investors for anywhere between $100K to $2M in funding. Learn about space diplomacy
Experts from across the United States, Europe, and Asia will discuss the rapid developments of space exploration. This workshop focuses on how these developments impact international relations, specifically the practice and impact of diplomacy. The event will take place Thursday, Nov. 18, at 9 a.m. EDT.
Black women and educational activism
This talk, given by associate professor Kabria Baumgartner, will discuss the long struggle for Black educational justice. She will cover how young women’s activism in the North reshaped public education in and around the Northeast, especially Massachusetts. The event will take place Thursday, Nov. 18, at 12 p.m. EDT.
Hear from Julia Angwin, founder of The Markup
Angwin will speak about her work in accountability journalism and discuss The Markup, a nonprofit newsroom with a mission to investigate how powerful institutions are using technology to change society. The lecture will be held Friday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. EDT. Registration is required.
