“(The Society of Women Engineers) flagged me down during orientation and I thought ‘I’m a woman and I’m in engineering’ so of course I wanted to get involved. Talking with other women engineers and seeing more women joining the field is a real confidence boost. I can see other women being successful and that helps me succeed. It’s like one big support group.”
