Northeastern has launched its first-ever Husky Closet Clothing Drive to help students build their professional wardrobes for the Fall Career Fair as well as future co-ops and job interviews.

The drive kicked off on Wednesday and runs through July 6. The Northeastern community can donate gently used professional clothes—from suits and skirts to belts, shoes, and jewelry. Collection and drop-off locations are in Davenport A, West Village C, and West Village H. Faculty and staff can also contact Michelle DuBow (m.dubow@northeastern.edu) in the Career Development office to arrange for drop off at the Stearns Center. Donations can be dropped off at the Social Justice Resource Center at 106 St. Stephen St., as well.

One week prior to the Fall Career Fair, Northeastern will hold a two-day event on Sept. 28-29 at the Cabral Center where students can look through and select clothing items, which will be free. Students will be able to take one outfit each.

•    Button-downs/polo dress shirts
•    Dresses
•    Scarves
•    Ties
•    Belts
•    Shoes
•    Jewelry
•    Briefcases/bags

Northeastern’s Career Development office, Social Justice Resource Center, John D. O’Bryant African American Institute, and the Trash2Treasure program partnered to launch the clothing drive.
